Volunteers

b&wart.jpg (11988 bytes)A non-profit, autonomous organization, the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation is operated by a Board of Directors and complemented by an Advisory Board. The Board consists of private citizens who are serving voluntarily.

The directors and advisors have committed themselves to generating and distributing financial and other resources in an equitable manner throughout the district.

The directors and some of the advisors  serve on one or more of the Foundation’s sub-committees, which include:

  • Finance
  • Planning
  • Fund-raising
  • Public Relations
  • Curriculum/New Projects
  • Grants
  • Mini-Grants
  • School Improvements
  • Recognition Dinners
  • Fine Arts Festival
  • Community Service Award
  • Artist-in-Residence
  • Middle School Math Enrichment
  • Sustaining Excellence
  • School Keepsakes

If you would like to get involved in the Foundation, a good way to start is by volunteering to serve on one of the committees, which can also include members of the public. If you’re interested, please call District 204 Communication Services Director and Liaison Janet Buglio at 630-375-3013.
